Thanks to David Dankanyin of Pandemic Haunt Production, all 3 sets of his pneumatic Animatronic prop plans are available on my website. David has graciously agreed to allow me to post the videos and prop plans for you to download at no charge. He did a lot of work on these and I am pleased that they will remain available for haunters to take advantage of.
If you have not had the opportunity to check these out in the past, now is your chance. They include a Hanging Thrasher, a Ground Breaker Mech and a 2 Bar Lift Mechanism.
Dave’s plans provide very detailed, east to follow layouts of each required piece as well as a complete parts list. There’s no excuse now for not starting one of these fantastic props. Halloween will be here before you know it!
One of the extremely useful things Dave did when he created the pop-up plans is provide both welded and a bolt up option. This allows anyone with some basic tools the ability to construct these props. When building pneumatic props, I do prefer the added strength that welding provides but the bolt up options have their advantages as well. Not only is welding equipment and experience not required, but the props can be easily disassembled for storage or re-purposing.
